With a background of more than 25 years working in the home building business, I can barely remember a day when real estate and the housing industry were not a primary focus in our home. Every member of my family is a REALTOR®.  I've worked with my partner Phil Hightower specializing in residential sales, and have recently represented Real Estate III at the prestigious Old Trail Village development near Crozet Virginia.

My background began in the midwest...I'm a graduate of DePauw U. from a time when dinosaurs roamed the earth.  After many years in Ohio and northern Michigan I adopted Charlottesville as my hometown nearly nine years ago. When I'm not with clients, you can find me (and Phil) at many of the sporting events around Charlottesville or else puttering happily in our kitchen. I've participated in a variety of business activities, from graphic design to managing a marina, and many of you in and around Charlottesville may also be familiar with me as the former owner of a gourmet food store named The Cherry Station.
